For this project I was a buyer for Victoria's Secret. I researched and analyized the company so that I could launch a new robe collection for Mother's Day. The collection I created was entitled "Your Own Idol". This concept was generated from leading female icons such as Marilyn Monroe and Princess Diana. After providing the background information (e.i mission statement, operations, etc), I then began work on understanding their marketing stratagety to benefit the launch of "You Own Idol". In this essay I discussed how over the past several years, department stores have used their online status to not only bring in revenue, but also to further brand themselves. I researched GAP, Macys, and Target to elaborate on the importance of online retailing, and staying true to the "brand image". Click on the image above to view the essay.

For this project I had to research at least two sweatshop scandals and report what those companies did in response, both successfully and unsuccessfully Click on the image above to view the essay.

For my final for Store Operations I was asked to create an expansion of Starbucks Corperation. My first task was to research Starbucks and find a authentic idea to branch off the corperation without there being a disconnect. Not only did I need to come up with an expansion plan, but I also needed to succesfully brand this new idea.
